Greetings
I am considering hiring admin employees on temp / Interim basis for a period of one year. They will pay salaries and submit all legal papers to government. What are the obligations and what is required of the employement agency as to legal / moral procedures for each employee, and what is legaly required of our offshore representation office?
Thank you for your kind reply

The law codes which apply for your case are: Contract law, label law and social security law. For the foreigners working inside Lebanon, you have to obtain for them an acceptance to work inside Lebanon and a work permit from the Ministry of work and a residence from the public security forces. You can create an offshore company. The law which cover such company is decree number 46 dated 26.6.83. Also sorry to tell you the question you posted above is not so clear.. so please clarify more and be precise... so maybe you see other colleagues replying.

Maitre Matar,
Thank you for your reply...
Sorry if my question did not seem clear.
I am interested to know the employer's obligations and rules that apply to temporary work (as labeled in France Interim or for a limited time). Does the law distinguish the contract / temporary / Interim workers (usually Lebanese) from regular permanent workers as to administrative requirements?
I hope I was able to clarify.
Again I appreciate your help

Mr, The labor law in Lebanon does not make any difference between full time job or part time job... all are equal under the law. The social Lebanese law does not protect employees working as part time (example 4 hours a day); while employees who signed a contract with the employers (full day work) for over 3 months must be registered in the social security.

Finally a new employee who accepts to work as part time / interim, can have protection written in the contract signed by him and the employer; such setting an article in the contract to receive some extra remuneration or salary or indemnity at the end of the part-time contract. Regards.
